Of course, every day at CDHS is an event and no two days are the same! If you haven't already, we invite you to visit our shelter. CDHS also welcomes volunteers to come and spend one-on-one time with our residents awaiting adoption. More

Pet Tip:

A family gets a healthy, playful puppy, but soon the puppy grows into a large, active dog. The dog ends up on a chain in the backyard - alone day after day. This kind of pet ownership is cruel and irresponsible. Make your pet a part of your family. They don't want much - just you.
