sessions for CDHS volunteer dog walkers. This training is designed to help
all dog walkers be safe and consistent in their handling of the dogs. More

book. That's what CDHS staff and volunteers found out at Barnes and Noble
Booksellers when they arrived for Storytime. More

A Year-Round Happening
Of course, every day at CDHS is an event and no two days are the same! If you
haven't already, we invite you to visit our shelter. CDHS also welcomes
volunteers to come and spend one-on-one time with our residents awaiting
adoption. More

 Homeless
Animals Day, celebrated in August of each year, is an
internationally-recognized observance in memory of the millions of companion
animals who are euthanized annually for lack of a loving, permanent home.
This month, in their honor, please remember them with a moment of silence,
facilitate just one spay or neuter, or give a donation in the hope that one more
life can be saved.
