 Pet Pictures
at Papa's Pumpkin Patch
October 4, 2009 from Noon to 4:00 pm
Bring your family, 2 or 4-legged, and
have your picture taken. The cost is $20 for one person or pet and
$5 for each additional person or pet, with a max of $40. This includes a CD with the pictures taken that
day and 1 copy of the “best” picture.

Vendor-Craft
Fair
October 10, 2009
This
Vendor-Craft Fair is a fund raising event for CDHS. It will be held Saturday,
October 10 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Hughes Education Center Gym. This event will include free admission
and a variety of vendors will be there. More

Walking Class
October 10, 2009
Colleen Garland and Marj Smith have offered to host our one-hour training
sessions for CDHS volunteer dog walkers. This training is designed to help
all dog walkers be safe and consistent in their handling of the dogs.

Halloween Party
October 31, 2009 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Adults,
children and pets are invited to dress in their best spooky or crazy Halloween
costumes and visit the Central Dakota Humane Society shelter between 1:00 p.m.
and 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 31. More

Of course, every day at CDHS is an event and no two days are the same!
If you haven't already, we invite you to visit our shelter. CDHS also
welcomes volunteers to come and spend one-on-one time with our residents
awaiting adoption. More

Pet Tip:
 Take your pet to a veterinarian on a regular basis and
keep vaccinations, including rabies vaccinations, up
to date. Animals that are allowed to roam outdoors are at a greater
risk of exposure to rabid animals.
